How Far terms of use
Effective date: 5 October 2026
1. Who we are
How Far: Naija Simulator ("How Far", "the game") is a multiplayer life game.
Joshua Aideloje ("we") makes the game. Contact: aidelojejoshua@gmail.com.
When you play, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not play.
2. Who can play
- You must be 16 or older.
- If you are 16 or 17, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You must give your true date of birth.
- You can have one account. Do not share it, sell it, or give it away.
3. Your account
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your sign-in safe.
You can delete your account at any time: Settings > Account > Delete account.
4. Community rules
How Far is a place for banter. It is not a place for abuse. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive players.
You must not:
- Attack a person or a group because of tribe, ethnic group, state of origin, religion, sex, disability, or sexuality.
- Harass, bully, threaten, or stalk a person.
- Post sexual content, or ask a person for it.
- Post any sexual content that involves a person under 18, or try to contact a minor for a sexual purpose.
- Share private information about a person: a real name, a phone number, an address, a bank detail, or a photo.
- Ask for real money, run a scam, or advertise.
- Buy or sell accounts, in-game naira, or in-game items for real money.
- Pretend to be a different person, a moderator, or our team.
- Send the same message again and again.
- Cheat, use bots, or use a bug to get an advantage.
- Break the law, or help a person to break it.
Rivalry between states must stay playful. We can close a channel when it does not.
5. Moderation
- A filter checks each message, each display name, and each status line. It hides bad language.
- You can block a player. A block works in both directions.
- You can mute a player. You stop seeing that player's messages.
- You can report a player or a message. Tap the player or the message, then tap Report.
- Our moderators review each report within 24 hours.
- When a player breaks the rules, we can remove the content, mute the player, suspend the account, or ban it. We can do this without a warning.
- If you think that we made a mistake, write to aidelojejoshua@gmail.com. Give your display name and the date.
6. Child safety
How Far is not for children. People under 16 cannot play.
We do not allow child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. This includes sexual content that involves a minor, grooming, and any attempt to sexualise a minor.
- Report it in the game with the Report button and the reason "sexual content".
- You can also write to Joshua Aideloje, aidelojejoshua@gmail.com.
- We remove the content and ban the account at once.
- We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities, as the law requires.
7. Your content
Your content is the text that you write in the game: your display name, your status line, and your messages.
You keep your rights to it. You let us store it and show it to other players, so that the game can work.
You are responsible for your content. Do not post content that you have no right to post.
8. Game money and items
- The naira in the game is play money. It has no real value.
- You cannot buy it with real money. You cannot change it for real money.
- You do not own the game money or the game items. We let you use them in the game.
- We can change prices, pay, and rules in the game at any time, so that the game stays fair.
The game has no purchases at this date. If we add a shop for cosmetic items, the rules of the app store apply to each purchase, and we will update these terms.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy says which data we collect and why: https://how-far.pages.dev/privacy.
10. The game can change
How Far is a new game. We add features, change them, and remove them.
The game can stop for a short time, and it can lose progress when a fault occurs. We try to prevent this.
The power cuts in the game ("NEPA takes light") are part of the game.
11. What belongs to us
The game, its name, its art, and its code belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.
You can play the game for your own enjoyment. You must not copy it, change it, or sell it.
12. Our responsibility
We give you the game as it is. We do not promise that it always works or that it has no faults.
We are not responsible for what other players say or do.
Where the law permits a limit, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability to you is not more than the amount that you paid us in the 12 months before your claim.
These terms do not remove a right that the law of your country gives you and that a contract cannot remove.
13. Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria apply to these terms, and the courts of Nigeria decide a dispute.
If the law of your country gives you the right to use the courts of your country, you keep that right.
14. End of these terms
You can stop at any time. Delete your account in Settings.
We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. We put the new date at the top. If the change is important, the game tells you before the change starts.
